Air Premia recorded a punctuality rate of over 89% in the first half of this year, surpassing the average of domestic airlines.
On September 9, Air Premia announced that it will expand its transfer network at Incheon International Airport, connecting with its routes to the Americas, based on its stable operational capabilities.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s air traffic service report, Air Premia’s punctuality rate for the first half of 2026 was tallied at 89.2%. This figure is 3.6 percentage points higher than the average for domestic airlines during the same period, which stood at 85.6%. It also represents an increase of 5.9 percentage points compared to the previous period, the second half of 2025 (83.3%).
As a carrier focused on long-haul routes, Air Premia has made proactive investments to enhance operational reliability. The company has taken measures such as expanding its fleet, securing spare engines and maintenance resources, stabilizing parts supply, advancing its maintenance systems, and strengthening operational schedule management, thereby establishing a response system to prepare for irregular operations.
This operational stability translates into improved transfer connectivity. Air Premia plans to significantly strengthen its transfer network at Incheon International Airport, starting with expanding its network from the Ningbo route in China. The airline aims to actively attract the transfer demand from major Chinese cities to the Americas via Incheon, thereby bolstering Northeast Asia’s status as an aviation hub.
