On September 9, LG CNS announced that it will develop AI agents for the screening process designed to reduce the repetitive data retrieval and record-keeping work of nurses, allowing them to focus more on customer consultation and health management. The AI agent analyzes and aggregates information such as customer screening histories and reports, consultation records, and post-management schedules scattered across the customer relationship management (CRM) system and electronic medical records (EMR), then provides the information needed for screening operations.

AI will also be applied to the stage of communicating screening results, where it synthesizes examination results and expert opinions to draft a preliminary report. Automation of pre- and post-screening guidance is also powered by AI. The AI agent creates checklists detailing precautions tailored to each examinee prior to the screening, and after screening, manages schedules for retests and follow-up observations. Through this collaboration, LG CNS plans to develop an AI agent model specialized for health screening consultation and expand its application to other major screening centers at Cha Medical Group in the future.

Paik Min, Executive Vice President of Financial and Public Sector at LG CNS, said, "LG CNS has transformed AI from something that is simply demonstrated to something that is used every day across various industries including finance and manufacturing. We aim to leverage our accumulated AI experience (AX) in the medical field to drive innovation in screening services and improve operational efficiency."
