Collective Bargaining Agreement to Be Reviewed from Scratch
The labor and management at Samsung Biologics were unable to reach an agreement during the tripartite dialogue resumed after 109 days. They plan to continue additional negotiations and then proceed to the second post-mediation session.
The Samsung Biologics Win-Win Labor Union announced on September 8 that this decision was made at the first post-mediation session held at the Incheon Regional Labor Relations Commission.
Labor and management have agreed to revisit the collective bargaining agreement from the beginning on September 10–11. During this process, the management will present proposals for each demand and, for those that are difficult to accept, will explain the reasons for refusal.
The results of the additional negotiations will be delivered at the second post-mediation meeting scheduled for 2 p.m. on September 15 at the Incheon Regional Labor Relations Commission.

Since December of last year, labor and management at Samsung Biologics have been negotiating wage and collective bargaining agreements but have not reached common ground on issues such as wage increase rates, performance bonuses, and employee benefits. The labor union applied for post-mediation with the Incheon Regional Labor Relations Commission on August 14.
