BNK Kyongnam Bank Donates 25 Million Won
Gyeongsangnam-do Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Cooperative Contributes 5 Million Won
With Chuseok approaching, the local community is actively donating funds and goods to help neighbors in need.
According to Miryang City, on September 8, BNK Kyongnam Bank Miryang Branch (branch manager Bae Yeoul) and the Gyeongsangnam-do Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Cooperative (chairman Kim Sanggan) visited City Hall and each donated Onnuri gift certificates worth 25 million won and 5 million won in cash, respectively, for local low-income and vulnerable households.

BNK Kyongnam Bank prepared the Onnuri gift certificates this year as part of its annual 'Chuseok Sharing of Love' event. Last year, the bank donated newly harvested rice, and this year it is supporting mutual growth with small businesses and revitalizing traditional markets through this donation.
The Gyeongsangnam-do Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Cooperative has also consistently made donations for more than 10 years since 2014, leading the way in spreading a culture of sharing throughout the community.
Byungkoo An, Mayor of Miryang, stated, "I am deeply grateful to BNK Kyongnam Bank and the Gyeongsangnam-do Ready-Mixed Concrete Industry Cooperative for always practicing compassion and being a strong support for our community even in these challenging economic times," adding, "We will ensure the donations are delivered with care so that those in need can enjoy a warm and fulfilling Chuseok holiday without feeling left out."

The donated Onnuri gift certificates will be distributed to 500 vulnerable households in Miryang before Chuseok.
The 5 million won in donations will be linked to the Miryang Happiness Sharing Fund and used to provide living expenses, medical bills, and housing improvements for those living in welfare blind spots or in crisis.
