Gloviant Surpasses Last Year's Annual Sales in First Half... Expands Domestic and Overseas Sales Channels
Maintaining Profitability Every Year Since the Launch of View&Dee Without External Investment
Aiming for 50 Billion Won in Sales This Year
Sequential Launches in Japan and the US Using Hong Kong as a Hub
Taiwan Market Entry Planned for the Second Half of the Year
Gloviant Co., Ltd., a K-beauty device company headquartered in Busan, announced on September 8 that its cumulative sales for the first half of 2026 have surpassed last year's full-year sales (approximately 20.2 billion won) as a result of expanding its domestic channels and making direct overseas entries. Since the launch of its brand, Gloviant has maintained profitability every year without external investment. The company plans to continue its growth momentum by expanding into Taiwan and launching new products in the second half of the year, aiming for annual sales of 50 billion won, which is about 2.5 times greater than the previous year.
Since launching its home beauty device brand 'View&Dee' in 2022, Gloviant has continued to operate profitably each year without raising external capital. According to the company, alongside its core customer base built around its own online mall, its strategy to expand key domestic channels and directly enter overseas markets has enabled concurrent growth across three axes: channels, countries, and product lines.
View&Dee aims to deliver the effectiveness of high-end devices at reasonable prices. Its flagship face care device, 'Anmode Pro,' combines three-stage multi-EMS frequencies, LED, and near-infrared care in a single wearable device, achieving cumulative sales of 200,000 units. In addition, Gloviant offers a product portfolio covering body, neck, and eye care, providing a comprehensive care routine for various body areas.
To boost product credibility, Gloviant has adopted the policy of completing human trials for all its products and disclosing their efficacy data in quantifiable figures. As efficacy verification is the foremost consideration for purchases in the home beauty device market, the company provides clinical data to explain the effectiveness of its products.
Gloviant believes that growing global interest in K-beauty, as well as the competitiveness of "K-beauty tech" that goes beyond simple cosmetics, will fuel acceleration in its global market expansion.
Amid such circumstances, overseas market entry has become a core growth driver for Gloviant this year. Instead of relying on local distributors, Gloviant has chosen to directly enter each country, first building brand recognition and sales data, and then leveraging that data to expand into local distributor channels. By directly gauging market responses and then broadening its distribution networks, Gloviant can use verified sales data when negotiating entry with distributors.
Beginning with the establishment of a Hong Kong subsidiary in 2025, the company successively launched in Japan and the United States in the first half of this year, and plans to enter Taiwan in the second half. In Hong Kong, the regional hub for Asia, its products are now available at more than 100 major electronics and beauty retail stores, competing alongside global brands. In Japan, View&Dee reached No. 1 in the new brand category immediately after its launch on Qoo10. In the United States, Gloviant operates its own online mall, Amazon, and TikTok Shop, while also entering major local retail distributors. The company intends to apply this overseas expansion strategy to new markets such as Southeast Asia by 2027.
Within Korea, Gloviant is broadening its offline touchpoints so that consumers can experience and purchase products directly. It has established a nationwide product experience network by launching simultaneously in leading Olive Young flagship stores, premium beauty select shop Chicor, and the Musinsa offline store, among others, each channel with different customer profiles. In its online strategy channels, Gloviant also achieved the No. 1 ranking across the full platform for Musinsa, W Concept, and CJ OnStyle, as well as No. 1 in the wellness category for Olive Young this year, demonstrating sales success across various customer groups. Consumers can refer to publicly available test data and experience products firsthand at offline stores.
The company’s fully in-house marketing operations are also supporting its growth trajectory. Gloviant maintains separate domestic and global marketing teams that manage everything in-house—from content planning to advertising, influencer collaborations, and performance analysis—without outsourcing. Its data-driven business operating model, proven in the domestic market, forms the basis for the global team to tailor strategies to each country's market. The company notes that, when entering new countries, it draws upon its accumulated experience to swiftly achieve results without local agencies.
