GS E&C to Launch Sales of Yeonje Gallery Xi, a Triple Station Development in Busan, in October
Up to 43 Floors and 499 Units, All 84 m²
Prime Location Near Yeonsan, Kyodae, and Geoje Stations
First Application of the Renewed Xi Brand in Busan
GS Engineering & Construction announced on September 8 that it plans to begin sales for "Yeonje Gallery Xi," which will be developed at 1123-1 Yeonsan-dong, Yeonje-gu, Busan, next month.
Yeonje Gallery Xi will consist of three buildings, with four basement levels and up to 43 floors above ground, for a total of 499 apartments, all featuring the highly preferred exclusive use area of 84 square meters. The entire project is made up of this single unit type, reflecting strong consumer preference.
The complex is located in a prime "triple station area" near Yeonsan Station, which connects Busan Metro Lines 1 and 3, as well as Kyodae Station on Lines 1 and Donghae Line, and Geoje Station on Line 3 and Donghae Line. It also offers convenient access to Jungang-daero and Geoje-daero, which run north-south through Busan, and World Cup-daero, connecting the east-west axis.
The area surrounding the complex features shopping facilities such as Emart Traders Yeonsan Branch, Emart Yeonje Branch, and Lotte Department Store Dongnae Branch, and is close to Yeonje Elementary School and Isabel Middle and High Schools.
Nearby, the Oncheoncheon Stream and Oncheoncheon Citizen Park are equipped with riverside walking trails, and the site is notable for its location on flat land. The area is also set to benefit from ongoing residential development projects, including mixed-use development around the complex, the redevelopment of Sambo Apartments, and redevelopment projects for Yeonsan Districts 11 and 12.
For the first time in Busan, the renewed Xi brand—introduced after 22 years—is being applied to Yeonje Gallery Xi. The project features a primarily south-facing layout, a variety of floorplan designs including four-bay rectangular and tower types, and expanded storage spaces such as pantries and dressing rooms, all designed for enhanced usability. With its 43-story towers, the development will establish a new skyline for Yeonsan-dong and add symbolic value with Xi’s unique exterior design.
The community facilities, called "Club Xi-an," will include a fitness club, golf practice range, and a small library, with a Kyobo Bookstore book lounge also planned. In the upper floors, "Club Cloud" will offer a guest house with a jacuzzi and a sound chamber, among other amenities.
A representative for the project commented, "This apartment will be located in what has become a symbolic area where Busan residents have traditionally visited Xi's sales complexes. Leveraging outstanding transportation links, a flat site, plentiful lifestyle infrastructure, and the unique product appeal of the Xi brand, we aim to set a new residential standard for Busan's urban core."
