MSBIO Submits Securities Registration Statement, Pursues KOSDAQ Listing in October
MSBIO, a regenerative medicine platform company specializing in human tissue and biomaterial-based solutions, has officially initiated the initial public offering (IPO) process for listing on the KOSDAQ.
On September 8, MSBIO announced that it had submitted its securities registration statement to the Financial Services Commission. Through this IPO, the company plans to offer four million new shares. The proposed offering price range is between 6,800 won and 7,800 won per share, with the total projected amount to be raised ranging from 27.2 billion to 31.2 billion won. Bookbuilding for institutional investors will be held from September 28 to October 2, followed by subscription for individual investors on October 12 and 13, with the aim of going public in October. KB Securities is serving as the lead underwriter.
Established in 2015, MSBIO develops and commercializes products for the reconstruction and regeneration of damaged tissue based on human tissue and biomaterials. The company supplies products to a variety of medical fields, including breast reconstruction in plastic surgery, soft tissue reconstruction in orthopedics, dental bone regeneration, and, ophthalmology for corneal and ocular surface treatment.
MSBIO possesses four core proprietary technologies: ▲ decellularization and preservation of extracellular matrix (ECM), ▲ precision splitting and standardization, ▲ customized collagen purification and cross-linking, and ▲ amniotic membrane application. Leveraging these technologies, the company has commercialized several products, such as the acellular dermal matrix (ADM) for breast reconstruction 'MYDERM Reconstruct', the collagen tissue filler for soft tissue repair 'MYGEN', and dental bone graft and barrier membranes 'MYBONE', 'MYOS', and 'MYGIS'. By diversifying indications and product specifications using its core technologies, the number of cumulative commercialized items grew from 11 in 2021 to 21 in 2025.
MSBIO's revenue has also shown a growth trend. Sales reached 14.8 billion won in 2023, 18 billion won in 2024, and soared to 23.8 billion won last year. Since 2020, the company has maintained an operating margin in the 30 percent range every year. In the first half of this year, MSBIO posted sales of 13.9 billion won with an operating profit of 4.5 billion won.
The proceeds from the IPO will be used to construct a new plant in Ochang, establish overseas hubs, and fund both domestic and international clinical trials. Through the newly built facility in Ochang, MSBIO plans to expand its medical device production capacity and automation, while the existing Seongnam site will be specialized for human tissue production.
