Donation for Amateur Development Delivered Before Heo Jeonggu Cup
This Year's Tournament Opens on September 8 at Namseoul Country Club in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province
Dongsu Heo, Honorary Chairman of GS Caltex, Kwangsoo Heo, Chairman of Samyang International, and Junhong Heo, Vice Chairman of SYTS, donated 100 million won for junior development to the Korea Golf Association.
The donation was made on September 7, one day before the opening of the 72nd Heo Junggu Cup Korea Amateur Golf Championship.

Since 2003, the tournament has been held as the “Heo Junggu Cup” in honor of the late Junggu Heo, Honorary Chairman of SYTS and Samyang International, who was the first Korean member of the Royal & Ancient Golf Club (R&A), served as the 6th to 8th President of the Korea Golf Association, and was the founding President of the Korea Professional Golfers’ Association.

This year, the event will be held over four days starting from September 8 at Namseoul Country Club in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. GS Caltex, Samyang International, and Samyang Corporation are sponsoring the tournament.
