The compensation package consists of a hacking and phishing protection insurance plan, a premium-grade viewing experience, TVING points worth 5,000 won, and entertainment coupons. The insurance is provided for one year and covers up to 3 million won per person for cyber financial fraud caused by hacking and phishing, as well as scams related to internet shopping malls and peer-to-peer transactions.
Current TVING subscribers will automatically receive a premium viewing experience for three months without a separate application. Affected members will also be granted TVING points worth 5,000 won. For entertainment benefits, users may select either a one-month subscription to the Wavve advertising-supported plan or a CGV combo discount coupon.
TVING has also decided to provide compensation to dormant and withdrawn members. However, withdrawn members are required to re-register for free and apply after identity verification and matching of information.
