Kyobo Life received this designation again for the first time in 14 years since 2012, being recognized as a model case of labor-management culture in the financial sector.
In the latest evaluation, Kyobo Life was highly praised for establishing a collaborative labor-management relationship that prevents conflicts through regular communication channels and proactive coordination of opinions.
The company has implemented the 'AI Desk', a generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform for all employees, and has put into practice a 'Work-Diet' initiative aimed at reducing unnecessary work.
Kyobo Life also fostered a field-centered innovation culture by improving its organizational environment based on employee experience, and successfully established a self-directed learning culture to nurture AI and digital talent for the future.
The company has also led the industry by introducing and expanding a job- and performance-based compensation system. In addition, policies such as promoting the use of annual leave, implementing the PC On/Off program, and expanding in-house employee welfare fund benefits have provided meaningful support for the balance between work and family life.
A Kyobo Life representative stated, "Our selection as an Excellent Labor-Management Culture Company is the result of our continuous practice of a symbiotic labor-management partnership," and added, "We will continue to cultivate a mature labor-management culture, enhance the quality of life for our employees, and develop as a model company that fulfills its social responsibilities."
Kyobo Life has maintained its status as a family-friendly certified company since becoming the first financial company to receive the designation in 2008. In 2022, it was named the 'No. 1 Best Company for Family-Friendliness' by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (formerly the Ministry of Gender Equality), and in 2024 was recognized by the Low Birth Rate and Aging Society Committee as an 'Excellent Work-Family Balance Company.'
