HiteJinro to Continue “Thank You Snack Truck” Program for Firefighters in the Second Half of the Year
Encouragement Activities for Firefighters Annually Since 2020
Visiting 17 Fire Stations This Year
HiteJinro will continue its “Thank You Snack Truck” initiative for firefighters, delivering messages of gratitude and support in the second half of the year as well.
HiteJinro announced on September 7 that, starting with Gwangjin Fire Station on September 2, it plans to visit a total of five fire stations by next month. HiteJinro’s goal for this year is to operate the “Thank You Snack Truck” at 17 fire stations in total.
During the second half of the year, HiteJinro will sequentially visit Gwangjin Fire Station, Daegu Gangseo Fire Station, Uiseong Fire Station in North Gyeongsang Province, Gijang Fire Station in Busan, and Hamyang Fire Station in South Gyeongsang Province—focusing on locations that made considerable contributions in responding to and recovering from national disasters such as wildfires, major accidents, droughts, and floods.
At each site, a variety of food including steak, salad, fruit cups, takoyaki, cookies, and beverages was provided, along with prizes such as brass mugs, Terra X Son Heung-min ice bags, and Toad Couple cup sets, which all received very positive feedback from firefighters.
The “Thank You Snack Truck” is a program that HiteJinro has operated annually since 2020, following a business agreement concluded in 2018 with the National Fire Agency to improve working conditions for firefighters and their families and to promote public safety awareness.

Based on this agreement, HiteJinro not only supports active-duty firefighters, but also carries out initiatives for the families of firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty. Annual initiatives include operating the snack truck program for fire stations nationwide to encourage firefighters, providing emergency living expenses and legal support for lawsuits to recognize line-of-duty deaths, and hosting “Healing Day” events for bereaved families.
