Kojima Sells Out "Moonchair" Massage Sofa on Choi Yura Show
All Inventory Sold Out in 65-Minute Broadcast
Kojima announced on September 7 that its recliner massage sofa "Moonchair" sold out completely during the Lotte Home Shopping program "Choi Yura Show" held on September 3.
During the broadcast, Kojima offered three types of "Moonchair" (beige, gray, and pink) at about a 37% discount, with 36-month interest-free installment plans and free gifts, including an exclusive carpet and a leg massager. All prepared inventory was sold out during the 65-minute show.
Kojima attributed the strong demand to increased interest in health management during the change of seasons, as well as demand for furniture-style massage chairs rising with the moving and home interior season. The company also noted that the upcoming Chuseok holiday further boosted demand for gifts for family and acquaintances.
The "Moonchair" is Kojima's flagship product, which won the "2025 Red Dot Design Award." The product features a moon-inspired design, body shape scanning technology, 3D massage balls, six automatic courses, and three manual courses. The recliner can be tilted up to 147 degrees and supports heating functions for the back and hip areas.
