This service was prepared for employees of Korea Zinc, its affiliates, and partner companies who needed to renew their driver’s licenses or have them reissued due to loss or damage. Staff from the Ulsan Driver’s License Examination Office visited the Onsan Smelter in person to process the relevant civil service work on site.
The company explained that this service made it possible for field workers, who find it difficult to visit the examination office during work hours on weekdays, to take care of licensing work without leaving their workplace, which reduced the burden of time.
Since 2023, Korea Zinc Onsan Smelter has been collaborating with the Ulsan Driver’s License Examination Office each year to provide mobile civil services, aiming to improve the convenience of field workers. This year, in response to employee demand, the service was held for the second time, following the first one in April.
Korea Zinc Onsan Smelter plans to continue identifying new services that can improve employees’ daily convenience and expand cooperation with relevant organizations.
