He added, “This is the change brought about by our ‘Credit Recovery Support for Faithful Payers’ program, designed to help those who have quietly repaid their debts even in difficult circumstances to work again, resume their businesses, and continue their daily lives.”
He went on to say, “In life, unexpected hardships such as illness or accidents may prevent people from paying their debts on time, but a single delinquency should not hold them back for life. We will create a society where those who work sincerely and strive hard can regain hope.”
President Lee also wished for the safe return of the Panstar Acro, the first Korean container ship to conduct a trial navigation along the Arctic route. He attached a video filmed aboard the Panstar Acro and wrote, “Together with the people, we wish for the safe voyage and return of the Panstar Acro, the pioneering vessel that will open the Arctic route and connect Busan, the southern maritime capital, to new horizons.”
