Deloitte Anjin and Nonghyup Support Recovery for Flood-Affected Grape Farms in Geoje

View original imageDeloitte Anjin LLC announced on September 4 that on the previous day, together with the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation and Nonghyup Bank, it visited grape farms around Dundeok-myeon, Geoje-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, to support recovery efforts for farms affected by heavy rainfall.
The program was organized to assist the affected farms in resuming agricultural operations and to help restore the local community. Over 20 employees, including Shin Geumho, Executive Director of Audit at Deloitte Anjin, participated on-site, delivered development funds, and supported recovery efforts.
Employees took part directly in efforts to repair damaged farmland, restore grape cultivation facilities, and organize workspaces to help resume farming activities.
Lee Jaekyu, President of the Dundeok Grape Joint Shipping Association; Kim Imjun, Head of the Dundeok Nonghyup; and Kwon Kyunghwa, Head of the Geoje City branch of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, also attended, encouraging the affected farmers and lending support to the recovery work.
Executive Director Shin stated, "Our employees visited the farms in person to offer even a small measure of support to those struggling due to the heavy rains," and added, "We will continue to carry out meaningful support activities for disaster-affected regions and local communities, building on our collaboration with the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation."
