Crit Ventures Makes Follow-up Investment in "Zeus: The God of Arrogance" Developer Averton
Venture capital (VC) firm Crit Ventures has made a follow-up investment in game developer Averton.
On September 4, Crit Ventures announced that it had completed its second investment in Averton, following its initial investment in 2024. The latest deal was made through a KRW 6 billion project fund dedicated exclusively to Averton.
Averton is a game development company founded by CEO Kim Daehwan, who previously oversaw the development of many successful titles at Nexon, including "Prazia Chronicle" and "Dave the Diver." The studio's first title, the MMORPG "Zeus: The God of Arrogance," was officially released last month and has since reached the top of the sales rankings on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store, achieving considerable success.
Building on the success of "Zeus: The God of Arrogance," Averton plans to further enhance the quality of its two upcoming titles currently in development and continue to grow as a multi-title game developer.
