(CEO Jo Yongwan), operator of the Pohang AI Data Center, signed a business agreement at Didim's headquarters. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to begin full-scale cooperation in the 'GPU as a Service' sector based at the Pohang AI Data Center.
This agreement aims to secure operational capabilities for Korea's AI infrastructure early on, as the domestic AI infrastructure is rapidly transitioning to high-density, liquid-cooled architectures. Since specialized AI data centers consume tens of kilowatts per rack and require the integration of power, cooling, and GPUs to function seamlessly, both companies believe that the operational system must be co-designed from the facility construction stage to ensure stable operation.
The two companies agreed to cooperate in four main areas: overall operation and management of the physical infrastructure—including data center space, power, and cooling—based on Neo AI Cloud's data center; establishment and operation of an AI GPU management platform with 24/7 operational services; provision of managed AI GPU cluster services and SLA support for domestic and international enterprise and public sector clients; and joint training of personnel for high-density liquid-cooled data center operations.
The primary focus of the cooperation will be all project phases for the "Pohang AI Data Center." As Neo AI Cloud is considering subsequent phase expansions, the scope of cooperation may further broaden in the future.
The Pohang AI Data Center is an AI-exclusive facility under development in the Gwangmyeong General Industrial Complex, Ocheon-eup, Nam-gu, Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do. The first phase covers 46,718 square meters and is designed with a facility capacity of 40MW, accommodating approximately 10,000 Vera Rubin GPUs. Construction began on June 12, 2026, with completion targeted for November 2027. The data center is designed as "Korea's first pure liquid cooling AI data center," with a density of over 150kW per GPU rack and a targeted PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) of 1.25. The second phase is planned for a total of 260MW, with service rollouts set to begin sequentially from the second half of 2028.
Didim Co., Ltd., founded in 2005, is an AI cloud managed service provider (AI MSP) with about 260 employees. The company has operated customers' infrastructure using major domestic and global cloud platforms, such as NAVER Cloud, KT Cloud, AWS, Azure, and NHN Cloud. In the AI infrastructure space, Didim has accumulated expertise through its operation of a cluster comprising over 7,000 Nvidia B200 GPUs for a domestic cloud provider, gaining extensive experience in monitoring and incident response for large-scale GPU environments in Korea.
This agreement determines the fundamental direction of cooperation between the two companies. The specific business scope and terms will be finalized through separate consultations in the future. In addition to this project, both parties intend to maximize experiential synergies by cooperating across various related business sectors.
Beyond constructing state-of-the-art physical facilities, combining advanced software operation capabilities to efficiently manage them is expected to become a key competitive edge in the increasingly competitive AI data center market.
Jo Yongwan, CEO of Neo AI Cloud, said, "The Pohang AI Data Center is Korea's first pure liquid-cooled AI-dedicated data center, and it is as crucial to have a robust operational framework as it is to achieve a high degree of facility completion. We will work closely with Didim, which has vast experience in managing large-scale GPU infrastructure, from the preparation stage, to build AI infrastructure that customers can trust and use."

Jang Minho, CEO of Didim, remarked, "Competition in the AI data center sector ultimately comes down to how stable and efficient the operations are. We will bring our 20 years of accumulated cloud operations expertise and experience managing high-density GPU clusters to the Pohang project, and will also contribute to the joint training of personnel for liquid-cooled data center operations."
