The manual details response guidelines by business sector and customer characteristics to resolve financial inconveniences experienced by customers dealing with dementia issues on site.
The company is also strengthening specialized financial and care services to help senior customers safeguard their assets and to practically reduce the caregiving burden on their children. Starting this month, NH Nonghyup Life will conduct a three-month pilot test of its “安心 Care Call” service for senior clients. In this service, a professional nurse places a one-on-one check-in call, and cognitive health trends are naturally monitored using artificial intelligence (AI) voice analysis technology. Based on these calls, a health report is sent to the customer’s children. If a disease is identified, the service also connects clients to advanced hospital appointment booking and health counseling. Following further development, the service is scheduled to officially launch through the NH Healthcare application early next year.
Previously, in May, NH Nonghyup Bank launched the “NH All Wonderful Medical Dementia Safe Trust,” a product that allows customers to entrust their assets while they are healthy, which are then managed and executed under pre-agreed conditions if dementia or a severe illness occurs in the future.
Tangible results are already emerging from the “安心 Care Project.” This project began in June, led by NH Nonghyup Financial Group, and brought together seven subsidiaries: banking, life insurance, general insurance, securities, asset management, capital, and savings bank. About 90 pilot branches nationwide have received “Dementia Conquest Leading Enterprise” certification through local government dementia safety centers, and all employees have completed dementia awareness training (as Dementia Partners). Looking ahead, NH Nonghyup Financial Group plans to join local governments in campaigns to prevent dementia and improve awareness.
