Hanpass Donates 20 Million Won for Nepal Disaster Relief
Hanpass has donated 20 million won to support disaster relief efforts in Nepal.
According to Hanpass on September 3, in addition to this donation, the company also plans to contribute an additional 1,000 won from company funds for each eligible remittance transaction made during the campaign period.
The campaign runs for 10 days, from August 27 to September 6. Hanpass will cover the donation for each transaction itself. Customers do not need to make separate donations, nor will the remittance amount be reduced, and there will be no additional fee increases.
This campaign is being held to provide a swift response to Nepal's escalating humanitarian crisis. It was planned following suggestions from Nepalese and Korean employees at the company, as well as the Nepalese community in Korea.
The funds raised will be delivered to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund in Nepal, through cooperation with the Embassy of Nepal in Korea. The final donation amount will be tallied after the campaign ends and announced separately.
