The expo will feature 67 experience and counseling booths, including AI and career experiences, career mentoring, academic and career counseling, and career-related events.
In the future industry section, participants can experience professions such as robot engineer, AI, coding, and virtual reality (VR) expert, pilot, and drone operator. There will also be programs that combine play and career exploration, including smart archery, drone soccer, and career tarot reading. The programs are structured to allow teenagers to naturally broaden their understanding of the world of work through games and hands-on activities, and to expand their career exploration by experiencing fields they may not have previously considered.
Youth opinions were reflected in the development of the programs. In an online career aspiration survey conducted by Dongducheon City in March, 1,086 local teenagers participated. Based on the survey results, the city prepared hands-on programs for highly preferred careers such as patissier, barista, and animator.
The expo is open to everyone on a walk-in basis with no advance registration required. For more information, please contact the Dongducheon City Career Experience Support Center.
