As part of the "Media Art Specialized Street Creation Project," the city installed media art at both the Mulbit Garden Music Hall and the old sedimentation building at the former wastewater treatment plant.
The exterior wall of the Music Hall now features a media facade, enabling the building’s surface to function as a screen for projected visuals. At the opening ceremony, an 8-minute and 30-second media art piece will be showcased, including the story preceding a concert titled "The Performance of Tancheon’s Animals" and depictions of the four seasons of Tancheon.
The artwork uses video and music to depict otters, raccoons, frogs, and other animals that inhabit Tancheon, celebrating the transformation of Seongnam Mulbit Garden into a civic space by holding a concert.
Inside the old sedimentation building, a 45-meter-long media tunnel has been constructed. A large glass viewing window has been installed at the entrance to the tunnel, allowing visitors to admire the illuminated passage and freely take photos. The city will finalize detailed schedules and continue operating the media art installations.
Mayor Shin Sang-jin stated, "Seongnam Mulbit Garden will become a unique space where music, media art, and nature come together. I hope that citizens will enjoy a distinctive nightscape and that this place will become an iconic cultural venue representing Seongnam."

The facility, constructed by Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH), commenced in 1994 and was completed in 1997. However, operations were halted due to resident opposition during the trial run, resulting in its prolonged abandonment.
