The showers caused by atmospheric instability are expected to continue.

In areas where showers fall, intense rainfall of around 20 mm per hour may occur, accompanied by gusty winds and thunder and lightning.
Even with the rain, the sweltering heat will not let up easily. For the time being, the maximum apparent temperature in most parts of Gwangju and Jeollanam-do is expected to climb to around 33 degrees Celsius, with humid and stifling heat likely to continue.
