The sponsorship funds will be used for the successful hosting of the '2026 Glocal Jeonnam Gwangju Social Service Integrated Expo,' which will be held at the Kimdaejung Convention Center from the 4th to the 5th, as well as to promote the activation of local social services.
Under the theme "A Special City Where We Live Together, Enjoying Care Together," approximately 5,000 participants are expected at the expo, including citizens of Jeonnam Gwangju Integrated Special City and social service professionals and stakeholders. The event will feature policy promotions for the seven major areas of social services, exhibition and experience booths, and various programs including forums to foster the ultra-wide social service industry.
In particular, as this is the first integrated expo encompassing the entire region since the launch of the Jeonnam Gwangju Integrated Special City, it is expected to serve as an opportunity for diverse stakeholders in the local social service sector to share information and expand exchanges and cooperation.
Kang Jihoon, Vice President of Gwangju Bank, commented, "I hope this expo becomes a meaningful occasion for social service professionals and citizens in Jeonnam·Gwangju to communicate and explore the future direction of local social services. Moving forward, Gwangju Bank will continue to pay attention to various regional issues as the leading regional bank growing alongside the community and will remain committed to meaningful social contribution activities that provide real support."
