The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency announced on September 2 that the Korean Pavilion at Gamescom, held in Cologne, Germany, for five days from August 26, facilitated business consultations worth a total of KRW 120 billion. Among them, Ludens delivered a presentation to global investors through Gamescom’s official investment program, the Gamescom Invest Circle, gaining opportunities to attract investment.
For the first time, the Korea Creative Content Agency launched the "Korea Indie Game Showcase in Gamescom" to facilitate smooth consultations. This event allowed participating companies to demonstrate their flagship titles, attracting 5,500 buyers.
Kim Dohyun, CEO of Genie Soft, said, "We were able to discuss publishing, investment, and intellectual property (IP) utilization with international business partners. We plan to continue follow-up discussions to further specify our entry into global markets." Moon Hyungwoo, CEO of Can Opener, stated, "We witnessed a positive response from German users. In particular, the number of product wishlist registrations increased significantly compared to before the event."
