President Lee Orders "Mobilize All Available Resources for Rescue" in Busan Tugboat Capsizing Accident
On September 2, President Lee Jae-myung ordered the mobilization of all available resources to rescue lives in response to the capsizing of a tugboat near Oryukdo, Busan.
Kang Yoo-jung, Chief Presidential Spokesperson, announced to the media that President Lee gave these instructions after being briefed on the tugboat capsizing that occurred near Oryukdo in Busan earlier that day.
According to the Busan Coast Guard and other authorities, around 1:30 p.m. that afternoon, a tugboat capsized in the waters off Oryukdo, Busan. It is reported that more than 10 people were on board the vessel at the time.
