'Zero Labor Home' Showcased by LG CLOiD
LG Electronics will present its 'AI Home' concept at 'IFA 2026,' Europe's largest home appliance and information technology (IT) exhibition, where artificial intelligence (AI) organically connects home spaces, appliances, and services to conveniently coordinate users' daily lives. By encompassing AI appliances, AI Home hubs, and the AI Home platform, LG Electronics will showcase an expanded AI Home ecosystem compared to last year.
On September 3, LG Electronics announced its participation in IFA 2026, which will be held in Berlin, Germany for five days starting on the 4th (local time). This year, LG Electronics will unveil more than 150 core products in an exhibition space of approximately 3,745 square meters, under the theme 'Innovation in tune with you.' The exhibition areas include the AI Home solutions zone, the 'Fit & Max' solution space, a media gallery, and the LG Signature zone, among others.
Approximately 46% of the entire exhibition booth is designated as exclusive business consultation space for partners. By operating its largest-ever private booth, LG Electronics also aims to target B2B clients, including local distributors.
In the 'AI Home' zone, next-generation AI home hub 'LG ThinQ On' and the AI home platform 'LG ThinQ' will demonstrate how residential spaces, appliances, and services are seamlessly connected. Realistic living spaces such as the living room, kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom are recreated, allowing visitors to experience how AI understands the characteristics of each space and provides the necessary functions.

ThinQ Claw is an AI agent that interacts with users, understands their lifestyle patterns and situations, and proactively suggests and executes necessary functions. It enables not only remote control of appliances via chat, but also integration with external services such as web searches and calendars.
The scope of AI Home application has expanded beyond households to include commercial spaces like buildings and offices. Through the integrated B2B management solution 'LG ThinQ Pro', LG Electronics will introduce an AI-based space management solution that comprehensively controls appliances, HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), and energy facilities in commercial spaces.
In the field of energy management, LG Electronics will present a Home Energy Management System (HEMS) utilizing 'Homey' from Athom, the smart home platform company acquired in 2024. Homey is an open platform capable of connecting and controlling over 50,000 IoT devices, including appliances, lighting, and sensors. The platform has evolved to manage the entire home's energy flow by linking AI appliances, HVAC, solar power, and Energy Storage Systems (ESS).
The 'Fit & Max' product lineup, which emphasizes both spatial and energy efficiency, will also be expanded. 'Fit' refers to design that fits precisely into a given space, similar to built-in appliances, while 'Max' maximizes value in terms of capacity and convenience. Previously centered on refrigerators, the lineup is expanding this year to include washing machines, dryers, and dishwashers, marking the first time the expanded lineup will be unveiled in one place.
In particular, LG Electronics will strengthen its high-efficiency appliance lineup in response to the strong emphasis European customers place on energy efficiency. The company will introduce washing machines that use 70% less energy than the top-rated A-grade standard, dishwashers that use 30% less, and refrigerators that use 35% less. High-efficiency technologies previously limited to flagship models are now being expanded to a broader range of appliances, increasing the proportion of energy-efficient products.
The Media Entertainment zone will highlight LG Electronics' display technology and content experiences. The company will showcase its premium TV lineup, including the 83-inch wireless wallpaper TV 'LG Signature OLED W', the 2026 LG OLED Evo AI, and the Micro RGB Evo.

The zone will provide a differentiated user experience for premium appliances through AI-based features such as voice recognition in refrigerators and 'Gourmet AI' in wall ovens.
At the entrance of the exhibition hall, LG Electronics has set up the 'LG AI Orchestra,' featuring flagship home appliances, robot components, and the home robot 'LG CLOiD.' With a giant kinetic LED structure measuring 16 meters wide and 4 meters high, combined with robots, home appliances, TVs, and HVAC products, the display visually represents how products, spaces, and services are interconnected within a single AI ecosystem. This also symbolically presents the future of the 'Zero Labor Home,' which seeks to reduce household chores.
