FLO Officially Launches "Cheer" Feature… Flave Fandom Sends 150,000 Cheers
Nearly 20,000 Support Tickets for Taemin in Just One Day
On September 2, Dreamus Company, the operator of the music platform FLO, announced the official launch of "Cheer," an interactive streaming feature that allows fans to support artists while listening to music.
"Cheer" enables users to send support tickets to artists and share related links. During the pre-release period, the group Flave received over 150,000 cheers. Fans also shared support tickets or the cumulative numbers, mostly on social networking services (SNS).
The singer Taemin also reached the top ranks of support. After releasing his new album on August 31, he gathered nearly 20,000 support tickets in just one day, ranking second among artists on the Cheer ranking.
Dreamus Company stated, "Since the official launch, about ten teams of artists have expressed their intention to participate." The company also reported, "Fans are utilizing the Cheer feature to mark new album releases, birthdays, and debut anniversaries." FLO is holding an event to promote the top three artists in the Cheer rankings by supporting subway station advertisements for them.
Lee Sae-rom, Head of Platform Business at Dreamus Company, said, "We aim to expand the realm of streaming from simply listening to enjoying music together and cheering for artists."
