SK Broadband's "AI 5 Set-Top Box" Sweeps the World's Four Major Design Awards
Hailed for Harmonizing Customer-Centric Design and Technology
On September 2, SK Broadband announced that its B tv "Artificial Intelligence (AI) 5 Set-Top Box" has swept the world’s four major design awards.
The AI 5 Set-Top Box received the main prize at the United States 'IDEA Design Award' in August, following wins at Germany’s 'iF Design Award' in March, Germany’s 'Red Dot Design Award' in April this year, and Japan’s 'Good Design Award' last year.
The AI 5 Set-Top Box features a circular black design. By concealing the buttons and logo on the top, physical elements were minimized; core functions can be accessed easily via AI voice recognition and a user interface (UI). The LED brightness has five levels, and the size of the LED, with its minimum diameter, prevents glare during nighttime viewing.
