Korea Investment & Securities Revamps MTS, Enhances Pension Asset Management Functions
Launch of Pension Home and Real-Time Asset Checking
Korea Investment & Securities announced on September 2 that it has revamped its Mobile Trading System (MTS) services, including a comprehensive upgrade of pension asset management functions.
This overhaul focuses on integrating pension-related features that were previously scattered across multiple menus and enhancing asset management convenience, especially as more customers are seeking to manage their pension assets directly following the implementation of the physical transfer system for retirement pensions.
First, the company has separated the pension section from the existing product home and established an independent "Pension Home." By gathering all pension-related products and services—including pension savings and retirement pensions—into a dedicated space, users can conveniently access required features without having to navigate multiple menus. In addition, the "My Total Pension Assets" interface has been revamped so that users can check the valuation and fluctuation of pension assets in real time, not just based on the previous day's data.
The "ETF Accumulation" investment function for retirement pension accounts has also been enhanced. Customers can select eligible retirement pension investment products and set accumulation intervals for their retirement pension accounts, allowing for automatic purchases. According to Korea Investment & Securities, this enables customers to steadily manage their post-retirement assets from a long-term perspective without having to respond to market shifts on a daily basis.
In line with the demand for systematic investing, the company also introduced a new "Accumulate Whole Shares of U.S. Stocks" service. In addition to fractional share accumulation, customers can automatically purchase full shares of designated U.S. stocks at regular intervals. Furthermore, the company has broadened the provision of the "Real-Time Weekly U.S. Stock Trading Rankings" service for customers trading overseas stocks during weekly sessions and revamped the "Profit and Loss Trends" tab, which visually displays profit/loss information for account balances.

A Korea Investment & Securities representative stated, "Since pensions are assets that require long-term management, it's important to provide an environment where customers can check their status at any time and operate their assets consistently. We will continue to enhance the MTS to serve as a comprehensive asset management platform, encompassing not only transactions but also pension and long-term wealth building."
