Man in His 60s Indicted and Detained for Killing Acquaintance During Argument at Go Club in Nowon-gu, Seoul

A man in his 60s has been indicted and will stand trial in custody after allegedly killing an acquaintance with a weapon during a quarrel at a Go (baduk) club in Nowon-gu, Seoul.
The Criminal Division 2 of the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office (Chief Prosecutor Kim Garam) announced on the 1st that it has indicted Mr. A (60) on charges of murder and has placed him under detention.
Mr. A is accused of fatally stabbing a man in his 60s, whom he knew personally, during a heated argument at a Go club in Gongneung-dong, Nowon-gu, Seoul, last month. Investigations revealed that Mr. A was under the influence of alcohol at the time. The victim was transported to the hospital but ultimately died.
