Lotte Shopping has regained the usage rights for Yeongdeungpo Station, which will allow it to continue operating its Lotte Department Store Yeongdeungpo Branch for the next 10 years.
Lotte Shopping announced on September 1, 2026, that it had been selected as the new operator in the bidding process for Yeongdeungpo Station usage rights conducted by the Korea National Railway. After completing the new contract procedures, Lotte Shopping plans to continue operating the Yeongdeungpo Branch. The contract period is 10 years from the date of signing.
The Lotte Department Store Yeongdeungpo Branch is a privately funded station department store that opened in 1991. Lotte Shopping has been operating it by obtaining usage rights for Yeongdeungpo Station from the Korea National Railway.
