"Kim Minseok's" Democratic Party TV Debut Attracts 55,000 Concurrent Viewers... "Hoping It Becomes a Core Broadcast"
The Democratic Party of Korea has launched its expanded official YouTube channel, rebranding the former "Deliminju" to "Democratic Party TV" (abbreviated as Min-TV). During its first broadcast, the channel attracted a peak of approximately 55,000 simultaneous viewers. Kim Minseok, chairman of the Democratic Party, remarked, "I think it would be good to carefully select at least one key message each time, reflecting the Democratic Party's stance at that particular moment. I hope this becomes a core broadcast for our party."
Appearing on the debut morning program "Min-TV 07" at 7 a.m. on September 1, Kim explained the reason for launching Democratic Party TV, stating, "It started from a simple awareness of the problem."

Although there are good broadcasts and various commentaries, confusion can arise. That led us to believe it was right for us to directly deliver the latest news, which is why we launched Democratic Party TV."
Shortly after taking office, Kim organized a task force to prepare for Democratic Party TV.
On this day, Kim also provided an explanation of "MegaTen," one of the ten major innovation organizations he established.
He said, "These ten organizations summarize the directions that our party will pursue going forward. Strictly speaking, it's actually a '10+1' system: there are organizations for public livelihood, party innovation, and youth engagement, with the Grand Integration Promotion Committee at the foundation."
MegaTen consists of: ▲ The Mega Project and Regional Growth Support Special Committee (Chairman Kim Minseok) ▲ The Nomination Innovation Promotion Group (headed by Assemblyman Shin Jung-Hoon) ▲ The Party Reform Promotion Group (led by former Governor Kim Kyung-Soo) ▲ The Constitutional Amendment Task Force (headed by Assemblyman Kim Tae-Nyeon) ▲ The Friday Night Political Alley Livelihood Group (directed by five-term Assemblyman Park Ji-Won), and also includes ▲ The AI-Driven Financial Market System Reform Task Force (headed by former Assemblyman Lee Yong-Woo) ▲ The "Promote Culture! Korean Wave Political Youth Culture Festival" Task Force (directed by actor Lee Won-Jong) ▲ The U.S.-China-Japan Party Diplomacy Promotion Group (led by Assemblyman Park Jeong) ▲ The 1030 Youth Policy Group (led by former Assemblyman Kim Han-Kyu and Assemblywoman Jeon Eun-Soo) ▲ The Second Gwanghwa House Promotion Group (headed by Assemblyman Mo Kyung-Jong and Assemblyman Kim Young-Bae).
Regarding the success criteria for MegaTen, Kim said, "The ruling party must simultaneously generate various policies and achievements. It should feel like a massive aircraft carrier moving forward." He added, "MegaTen is being run in parallel, and the mission for myself and the leadership team is to manage these processes. I am confident in our ability to handle and manage multiple projects simultaneously."
Kim also stated, "A party that learns is the best party, and politicians who study are the best politicians. If the broadcast gives the impression that our party is always learning, that would be the highest praise for the Democratic Party."
On this broadcast, Assemblyman Lee Hoon-Ki, a member of the Friday Night Political Alley Livelihood Group, and Assemblywoman Jeon Eun-Soo, co-leader of the 1030 Youth Policy Group, appeared as guests. Five-term Assemblyman Park Ji-Won was also scheduled to appear but was unable to attend due to health reasons.
Additionally, during the broadcast, Kim discussed how he attended the funeral of Supreme Court Chief Justice Cho Hee-Dae's father the day before. He said, "Last night, I was supposed to have dinner with Prime Minister Han Seong-Sook and Presidential Chief of Staff Kang Hoon-Sik, but I postponed it to pay my respects at the funeral. Since it was during the mourning period, there was nothing political to discuss."
The broadcast started with around 30,000 viewers, which grew to approximately 55,000 by the end. Meanwhile, "Kim Eo-Jun's News Factory" YouTube channel, which starts five minutes after Democratic Party TV at 7:05 a.m., attracted about 200,000 simultaneous viewers.
