SK Plasma Launches High-Dose Thrombocytopenia Treatment for Improved Patient Convenience
Full-Scale Domestic Supply of Revolpak Tablets 75 mg
SK Plasma is expanding the dosage lineup of its thrombocytopenia treatment "Revolpak" to reduce the pill burden for patients requiring higher doses.
SK Plasma announced on September 1 that, following the recent launch of Revolpak 25 mg and 50 mg last month, it is now commencing full-scale domestic supply of the high-dose "Revolpak Tablets 75 mg."
Revolpak is a prescription medication containing eltrombopag olamine, indicated for the treatment of thrombocytopenia. This is the first time a 75 mg dosage has been launched in Korea. Eltrombopag olamine enhances platelet production in the bone marrow, thereby increasing platelet count, and is used in the treatment of chronic immune thrombocytopenia and severe aplastic anemia.
SK Plasma plans to leverage its expertise in blood-related diseases such as albumin and immunoglobulin, aiming to enhance treatment convenience through diversification of dosage and formulation.
