Aegis to Acquire Treasury Shares Worth 3 Billion Won... Strengthening Shareholder Returns
Aegis has entered into a trust contract for the acquisition of its own shares, worth 3 billion won.
According to Aegis on September 1, the trust contract period for the acquisition of its own shares is from August 31 of this year to March 2 of next year. The planned acquisition price is 4,240 won per share. The number of shares to be acquired through the contract amounts to 707,547 common shares, which is equivalent to 6.9% of the total shares issued. The company is also actively considering the cancellation of the acquired treasury shares in the future.
Aegis is targeting high value-added industries such as physical artificial intelligence (AI), aerospace, and autonomous driving, leveraging its capabilities accumulated through a wide variety of projects with domestic and global companies and institutions over a long period. To realize physical AI, the company has completed the integration of Nvidia Omniverse and has also successfully concluded satellite data conversion tests. In addition to promoting the application of smart glasses after obtaining certification from the Korea Information and Communication Technology Association (TTA), Aegis is participating in future mobility data projects, building precise spatial data for autonomous driving.
