Korea Federation of Banks Appoints Former BC Card Vice President Woo Sanghyun as New Executive Director
The Korea Federation of Banks announced on the 1st that, with the consent of the general meeting of members, it has appointed Woo Sanghyun, former vice president of BC Card, as the new executive director.
Executive Director Woo graduated from Dongnae High School in Busan and studied economics at Seoul National University before starting his public service career as a successful candidate in the 33rd Higher Civil Service Examination in 1990. He later earned a master's degree in environmental management from Yale University and served as Director of Educational and Cultural Finance at the Ministry of Planning and Budget, Director of SME and Retail Finance, and Director of Industrial Finance at the Financial Services Commission.
