Korea Securities Finance Launches Mobile-Only Parking Account
Korea Securities Finance Corporation has launched a mobile-only parking account.
According to Korea Securities Finance Corporation on August 31, the "Jeunggeum Maeilmoa Account" is a demand deposit product with a single interest rate of 2.96% per annum (pre-tax basis) compounded daily, with no preferential conditions required.
Interest is accumulated daily during the deposit period, and, in accordance with the Depositor Protection Act, both the principal and prescribed interest are protected by the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation up to a maximum of 100 million won per person. All transfer fees are fully waived, and the account supports a convenient instant account opening service without face-to-face interaction.
