KDIC to Hire 35 New Employees Through Open Recruitment

Final Successful Candidates to Be Announced in December
The Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation will conduct an open recruitment for 35 new employees this year. In an effort to expand youth employment, the company has increased the number of hires by 10, up from the initial plan of 25 at the beginning of the year.
On the 31st, the corporation announced that it will recruit new employees through an open recruitment process to ensure the stability of the financial system and to carry out deposit protection work. The available positions are in general finance, digital, and general administration for high school graduates. The general finance category is further divided into management, economics, and law.
Applications can be submitted through the corporation’s official website until 5 p.m. on September 11. Applicants who pass the document screening will proceed to the written exam and first and second interviews. The final list of successful candidates will be announced in December. The written exam will take place on October 17. In addition to the National Competency Standards (NCS) basic competency test, there will be separate exams in business administration, economics, law, or computer engineering, depending on the recruitment field.

The corporation will give preference to people with disabilities, veterans, and regional talents. The recruitment process will also award additional points to single-parent families, North Korean defectors, multicultural families, and self-supporting youths, continuing efforts to promote social diversity in hiring.
