Fall Clothing Sales Up 30% After Cheoseo... W Concept Launches "Autumn Runway"
New Arrivals Reflecting the "Grown Woman" Trend
Fashion platform W Concept announced on August 30 that it will be holding the “Autumn Runway” special exhibition, proposing full-fledged fall styling in response to the sharp increase in demand for fall season products following Cheoseo.
According to W Concept's analysis of data from August 23 to 28, immediately after Cheoseo, the transaction volume for fall clothing increased by 30% compared to the previous week (August 18-22). By category, knitwear saw the highest growth rate with an 85% rise in transaction volume, followed by mid-heel shoes (40%), tote bags (35%), and outerwear (20%).
This fall season, the “grown woman” styling, which emphasizes a relaxed and sophisticated image, has emerged as a key trend. In particular, characters such as Han Yoo-joo (played by Chae Jung-an) from the drama “Coffee Prince” and Yoo Hee-jin (played by Jung Ryeo-won) from “My Name Is Kim Sam-soon” are drawing attention. As a result, there has been a substantial increase in demand for items such as leather jackets, suede jumpers, H-line long skirts, deep V-neck knits, and tote bags. As for signature colors, red, burgundy, and plum are proving especially popular.
Until September 13, W Concept will host the “Autumn Runway” special exhibition, featuring key fall categories such as knitwear, outerwear, and mid-heel shoes. In the “Brand Focus of the Day” section, shoppers can explore new arrivals from leading brands including Sillage, Mohan, Till I Die, and Adidas. The event also offers a variety of shopping benefits, such as hot new releases, best sellers, 24-hour limited-time special prices, and the “New Tag Encore Sale” featuring rising brands newly launched on the platform.
In addition, during the event period, a “Best Shopper Challenge” event will be held, awarding up to KRW 3 million worth of Korean Air gift cards to top shoppers, along with a coupon pack offering up to 30% discounts.
