KCC Shares Self-Painting Know-How on YouTube: "Paint Your Own Walls and Furniture"
Targeting Demand for Self-Interior and Micro Remodeling
"Suro All-in-One" Offers Versatile Application Across Materials
KCC is expanding its customer engagement by releasing content that introduces self-painting know-how, targeting the remodeling demand for decorating walls, furniture, and other surfaces.
KCC announced on August 31 that it has recently released a series of self-painting content through its official YouTube channel, KCC TV, demonstrating how to directly paint various spaces and materials inside the home such as walls, doors, and furniture using its water-based paint "Suro All-in-One."
In the video content, KCC delivers practical methods and product usage tips that consumers may wonder about during actual self-painting projects, making the information easier to understand. The videos allow general consumers to visually check the painting process and important precautions, aiming to lower the entry barrier to self-painting and to enhance understanding and trust in KCC products.
Recently, interest has been rising in "Micro Remodeling," where individuals refresh the home atmosphere by selectively updating just one wall, a door, or pieces of furniture.
According to a "2025 Home Interior Needs and Home Furnishing Trends Survey" conducted by market research firm Embrain Trend Monitor targeting 1,000 adults, 74.9% of respondents evaluated home furnishing as a highly cost-effective interior solution. More consumers are seeking to incorporate their personal style into living spaces without incurring significant expenses.
The "Suro All-in-One" featured in KCC's self-painting videos is a water-based paint suitable for various materials such as wood, metal, and concrete. By applying a special waterborne acrylic resin, this single product can be used to paint diverse spaces and materials, making it ideal for self-interior projects.
When used on metal, it helps reduce the need for a separate anti-corrosive primer, as typically required with regular water-based paints, offering added convenience. Consumers who want to update different parts of their homes in their preferred colors can flexibly utilize this one product in a variety of applications.
It is also environmentally friendly. Suro All-in-One is an eco-friendly water-based paint with reduced emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and features antibacterial and antifungal properties. It has received the Ministry of Environment’s Eco-Label certification and the highest grade of the HB Mark, an eco-friendly building material certification from the Korea Air Cleaning Association.
KCC plans to continue introducing practical content that reflects changing consumer trends—such as self-interior and micro remodeling—that can be applied in real-life situations.
