T'way Air to Begin Operations as "Trinity Air" Starting September 10
Major Customer Touchpoints, Including Website and Airport Counters, to Be Rebranded
Existing Reservations and Ticket Usage Conditions Remain Unchanged
Airline Code (TW) and Flight Numbers Stay the Same
T'way Air announced on August 31 that it will begin operations under the name "Trinity Air" starting from September 10.
Back in May, T'way Air received approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to change its license to the new name, "Trinity Air." The company subsequently completed the necessary domestic and international procedures, setting September 10 as the official brand transition and launch date.
Additionally, starting September 10, the newly introduced uniforms will be fully adopted for all staff, marking a fresh new look as the airline greets customers under its new name.
All key customer touchpoints, including the website, mobile app, and airport check-in counters, will also be rebranded as "Trinity Air" from September 10. The check-in terminal and counter locations will remain unchanged; however, customers are advised to check the airport displays on the day of departure in case of any operational changes.
Customers who have already purchased tickets departing after September 10 can use them without making any changes. The airline code (TW), flight numbers, operational schedules, existing reservations, and ticket usage conditions will all remain the same. Booking confirmations issued before the name change may still display the previous airline name, "T'way Air," but this will not affect boarding.
With this brand transition, Trinity Air plans to fully implement its new brand mission, "Relaxed and Reliable," and actively pursue its Selective Service Carrier (SSC) business strategy.
SSC is a business model that, instead of providing the same service to all customers, selectively enhances services based on route characteristics and travel purpose to better meet customer needs.
Based on this approach, Trinity Air will maintain competitive and reasonable fares on short-haul routes, while expanding premium services such as dedicated check-in counters, in-flight meals, and in-flight entertainment (IFE) on long-haul routes to cater to customer preferences. The airline also plans to introduce lounge operations and a mileage program in the future, aiming to deliver a differentiated travel experience.
Alongside the brand transition, Trinity Air will continue to introduce next-generation aircraft and further strengthen its services and route competitiveness. The ongoing introduction of mid- to large-sized A330-900NEO and B737-8 aircraft this year is expected to solidify Trinity Air's position as a leading airline with differentiated services and route offerings.
