Je-Gal Jun, Director of Post Archive Faction, called for customized strategies tailored to each market. He emphasized that "the characteristics and roles of each overseas market are different, and strategies for market entry must change according to the stage of brand growth," adding, "There needs to be market-specific support that directly leads to increased sales and growth."
Moon Jiwoo, CEO of Yase, suggested expanding collaborations with content IPs. He said, "Linking writers and artists with designer brands will create new competitive strengths," and expressed hope that "such collaborations will expand overseas and serve as an opportunity to promote both K-content and fashion creators."
This year, the Korea Creative Content Agency will spend about 11.3 billion won supporting the designer fashion industry. The agency will help organize exclusive fashion shows at major global fashion weeks and operate overseas pop-up stores in partnership with Hyundai Department Store.
On the same day, the 'Designer Fashion Industry Development Operating Committee' was launched. Serving as an official channel for industry communication, it will regularly gather input from the field to improve support programs and identify new initiatives.
