The “Hyundai N x Racing Master Cup” is the first official esports collaboration project between Hyundai Motor Company and Racing Master.
This tournament was planned to extend the high-performance brand philosophy and motorsport DNA of Hyundai N into a mobile sim-racing environment, providing global users with a new digital racing experience.
From July 23, approximately 4,000 participants in each region joined online qualifiers and tournament rounds over two months to determine offline finalists. In the Seoul offline finals, a total of eight representatives from four regions—Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia, and Hong Kong/Macau/Taiwan—will compete.
The winner of the finals will receive a prize of $1,000 and various in-game rewards. All eight finalists will receive prize money according to their ranking and special rewards.
In the finals of this “Hyundai N x Racing Master Cup,” the Hyundai Avante N model will be used as the official competition vehicle. This marks the first time a Hyundai N vehicle will serve as the official race car in a global mobile racing game esports tournament.
Racing Master is a global mobile racing game which has signed official licensing agreements with over 40 global automobile brands and offers more than 100 vehicle models.
In the game, players can experience a variety of Hyundai N and N Line vehicles—including the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N, Veloster N, Avante N, Tucson N Line, and N Vision 74. Users can experience Hyundai's high-performance models in a virtual environment.
Hyundai Motor Company and Racing Master will also run a joint exhibition booth during the GES event period from September 18 to 20.
Hyundai plans to expand its connection with future mobility generations and strengthen brand experience by combining digital racing in mobile games with real motorsport culture.
Visitors to the Hyundai booth can participate in a lap time challenge using Hyundai N vehicles and directly experience the Hyundai N vehicles as represented in the game. They can also try virtual courses based on the Seoul city circuit and famous tourist spots in Korea implemented in the game. Various onsite events and prize programs will also be held.
Meanwhile, on September 20, Hyundai will hold the opening round (Round 1) of its representative sim-racing esports tournament, the “Hyundai N Virtual Cup,” at the GES venue.
