On August 30, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced that it would hold policy briefing sessions for stakeholders involved in maintenance projects nationwide. These sessions are designed to provide on-site guidance on the policy direction and institutional improvements for maintenance projects outlined in the "Measures for Rapid Housing Supply" announced on August 13.
The briefing sessions will be held a total of two times. The first session will take place at 2 p.m. on September 1 at the Yonsei Severance Building near Seoul Station. The second session will follow at 2 p.m. on September 3 at the Chungnam Headquarters of Korea Railroad Corporation (KORAIL) located at Daejeon Station.

View original imageAnyone can participate in the sessions by registering in advance through the Korea Real Estate Board website or on a first-come, first-served basis on the day of the event at the venue.
During the policy briefing sessions, relevant organizations will directly address questions from project stakeholders. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Korea Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG), Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), and the Korea Real Estate Board will each provide explanations regarding policies and systems in turn.
The Ministry will announce the key points of the proposed legislative amendments, while HUG will explain financial support measures such as relocation loans. LH will introduce methods for public redevelopment projects, and the Korea Real Estate Board will present the construction cost verification system.
