The event will take place on October 4 at the Peace Square in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Both individuals with disabilities and those without can participate, and three courses will be available: 5 km, 10 km, and a half marathon. The routes will run along Nanjicheon Circular Road, including Peace Lawn Square and Sky Park.
The entry fee is 50,000 won for the 5 km course, 60,000 won for the 10 km course, and 70,000 won for the half marathon. All fees will be donated in full to the Korean Society for Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities, with donation receipts issued to participants. People with disabilities can enter for free, and one accompanying runner per participant with developmental or visual disabilities is also exempt from the entry fee.
Lee Bongju stated, “This is a special event where people with and without disabilities run together, respecting each other’s pace. Beyond records and rankings, it will be a place to encourage one another and share the values of challenge and hope.” He added, “I hope every step taken by runners from across the country becomes a source of warm support and fresh courage for someone.”
