Qurient to Reveal Payload Strategy at International ADC Event
Presentation of New Directions for Payload Development
On August 28, Qurient announced that it will present its next-generation Antibody-Drug Conjugate (ADC) development direction and payload strategies at the 'ADC & Bioconjugate East Asia 2026', which will be held in Incheon starting from September 17.
This event will bring together East Asian ADC development companies, contract development and manufacturing organizations (CDMOs), and academic experts to discuss next-generation core technologies such as payloads and linkers, as well as the latest research trends in ADCs.
At this event, Dr. Wonkyun Ahn of Qurient, who was invited as a speaker, is expected to address the evolution of ADCs, toxicity issues, and the current challenges of overcoming ADC resistance. He will also introduce new payload strategies expected to be required by the market in the future.
Currently, Qurient is developing QP101, a HER2-targeted dual payload ADC. According to recent preclinical study results, QP101 demonstrated superior anti-cancer efficacy compared to Enhertu in several Enhertu-resistant animal models and HER2-positive animal models. The company also secured a high level of safety through repeat-dose toxicity studies in primates.
