KB Real Estate Launches Jeonse Checklist Service: From Listings Search to Contract and Moving
Step-by-Step Checklist and Comprehensive Content Provided
KB Kookmin Bank announced on August 28 that it has launched the "Jeonse Safety Check" service on its real estate platform, "KB Real Estate," to help prevent jeonse rental scams.
This service provides a step-by-step checklist outlining the important points to verify throughout the entire process, from searching for jeonse listings to signing the contract and moving in.
It brings together in one place the information previously offered by KB Real Estate, such as public housing details, notifications of real estate registry changes, information on jeonse deposit return guarantee insurance, guidance on what to do in the event of a rental scam, and information on support organizations.
KB Kookmin Bank operates specialized financial consultation branches near the Jeonse Victim Support Center in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Housing and Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG). To date, it has provided support in approximately 7,600 cases.
