Jung Bongju, Kang Shinsung, and Choi Hyeyoung Appointed to Kim Minseok's Special Advisory Team
Kim Dokyun, Park Wanhee, Song Hochang, Han Sangik, and Others Appointed
Former lawmaker Jung Bongju and former Korea Sports & Olympic Committee Vice President Kang Sinsung have been appointed to the special advisory group under Minseok Kim, Special Advisor to the Leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.
On August 27, the Democratic Party announced, "In order to strengthen the party's expertise and on-the-ground capabilities, we have appointed special advisors in various fields to the special advisory group under the party leader."
The special advisory group will be led by Assemblyman Kim Kyohung and former lawmaker Choi Jaesung as co-heads, with the following appointments: Kang Sinsung, former Vice President, in the social organizations sector; Kim Dokyun, Secretary-General of the K-Leading Nation Future Forum, in the small and medium-sized enterprises sector; Park Wanhee, former President of the National Basic Assembly Members Association, in the local government sector; and Song Hochang, partner attorney at DR&AJU LLC and head of the U.S. Policy Consulting Team, in the U.S. diplomatic relations sector.
Other appointments include: Jung Bongju, former assemblyman, in the planning sector; Choi Hyeyoung, former Spokesperson of the Office for Government Policy Coordination, in the social minorities sector; and Han Sangik, former Secretary for National Policy in the Presidential Secretariat, in the policy sector.

The Democratic Party stated, "The newly appointed special advisory group under the party leader will serve as a key communication channel by collecting and conveying diverse opinions from the field to the party," adding, "The advisory group will later form an online special advisory group to gather even broader input."
