KOSPI Settles Above 6,900... KOSDAQ Also Rises

Individual investors were net sellers of 1.9149 trillion won. Foreign investors and institutions were net buyers of 152.4 billion won and 177.6 billion won, respectively.
By sector, electric & electronics (2.62%), metals (2.30%), and manufacturing (2.04%) all gained, while distribution (-2.36%) and electric & gas (-2.05%) declined.
Among major stocks by market capitalization, Samsung Electronics (1.72%), SK hynix (2.49%), SK Square (0.95%), and Samsung Electro-Mechanics (4.14%) rose, while Samsung Electronics Preferred Shares (-1.27%) declined.
The KOSDAQ closed at 837.65, up 10.78 points (1.30%) from the previous session.
Individual investors were net sellers of 148.4 billion won, while foreign investors and institutions were net buyers of 89 billion won and 61.3 billion won, respectively.
By sector, finance (3.21%), electric & electronics (3.08%), and machinery & equipment (2.48%) rose, while entertainment & culture (-1.29%) and publishing & media duplication (-1.11%) fell.
