Sharing the Current Status of AX Adoption Technologies by Eight Companies
The Busan branch of the Korea Shipping Association announced on August 27, 2026, that it will hold the “Shipping Industry AX Strategy Technology Briefing” on September 2 at 2 p.m. in the auditorium on the 6th floor of the Busan Trade Center, to support artificial intelligence (AI) transformation (AX) for domestic shipping companies.
This briefing has been organized as a follow-up to the “Shipping Industry AX Strategy” current issues report published by the association in July. It aims to support the swift AI transformation of priority application areas identified in the report, such as optimal routing, smart documentation, predictive maintenance, and onboard accident prevention.
Eight companies will participate in the briefing—Lab Korea, Marine Works, HD Hyundai Marine Solution, LG CNS, Chokwang Paint, Kongsberg Maritime, Team Reboot, and Korean Register—to share the current status of technologies related to the priority areas for AX adoption in the shipping industry.
