BioPharm Signs Joint Technology R&D MOU with SODLab for Next-Generation Health Functional Foods
BioPharm, a subsidiary of HPO and a company specializing in manufacturing health functional foods, announced on the 27th that it has signed a joint technology research and development business agreement (MOU) for next-generation health functional foods for lifestyle care with SODLab, a company specializing in bio research and development (R&D).

View original imageAt the signing ceremony held at SODLab's headquarters in Sejong City, the two companies agreed to jointly develop innovative technologies covering consumer lifestyle, such as skin health, blood sugar management, and antioxidant solutions. They plan to collaborate on personalized healthcare solutions, new formulations, and functional technology development.
SODLab, which possesses SOD (Superoxide Dismutase)-based bio technology, specializes in health functional foods, hair loss care, and bio-cosmetics research and development. Since the first MOU was signed last year, the two companies have maintained ongoing cooperation. Through their partnership, they have introduced products such as ‘Dr. SOD Double Up Plus’ and ‘Dr. SOD Immune Plus’ utilizing SOD technology. With this MOU, their collaborative relationship will expand from a focus on product development and production to joint technology research and development.
BioPharm has established a production system for health functional foods based on more than 20 years of accumulated R&D capabilities and a strict quality control system. In the first half of this year, the company posted sales of 31 billion won, representing a 19.1% increase compared to the same period last year. The company plans to strengthen its competitiveness in the next-generation health functional foods market based on this MOU.
